Listen to music Online with Naxos
Great news for music fans – Christchurch City Libraries now subscribes to the Naxos Music Library. This enables you to listen to a fantastic range of music from your home computer or in any of our libraries.
Naxos Music Library is the most comprehensive collection of classical music available online. While the primary focus is on the standard classical repertoire, Naxos has a solid range of jazz classics, some blues, rock and contemporary jazz and an extensive range of world music. A bit of exploring reveals an eclectic mix - Douglas Lilburn's Poem in a Time of War and Gareth Farr's Volume Pig, for example.
