Send a Friend Competition Winners
Mary McKay and Yvonne Smitheram-Baylis are the lucky winners of Hornby Library’s ‘Send a Friend’ competition, each winning two return tickets on the TranzAlpine Express.
Mary simply introduced Yvonne to Hornby Library, and in doing so, was automatically entered into the ‘send a friend’ prize draw. When notified that she had won, Mary said: “I have always wanted to travel on the TranzAlpine Express, I was going to do it this year as a birthday present to myself now I don’t need to and I get to take my friend Bev with me.”
Yvonne celebrated in style with friends and a glass of bubbly. “I can't believe my luck. I never thought that we stood a chance of winning. I can't wait to spend a day soaking up the fantastic views on my way to and from Greymouth.”
If you are already a Library Member and would like the chance to win TranzAlpine tickets, pick up an entry form from Hornby Library and send a friend to join up. You will both then be entered into the remaining prize draws.
